A two-semester certificate that begins with Welding I in Stick welding, oxyfuel cutting and plasma cutting, with emphasis on completing an AWS vertical Stick certification. During the second semester students select three courses from advanced Stick, combined MIG/Flux-Core, TIG, additional welding classes or an approved elective. The program includes hands-on shop work and access to destructive and radiographic weld-testing facilities.
