University of Hawaiʻi Maui College is a public college in Kahului. Its current 2025-26 catalog lists two 3-credit welding support courses: WELD 119C for automotive applications and WELD 119D for construction applications. Each course combines 90 lecture/lab hours and introduces arc and gas welding of ferrous metals, brazing, flame cutting, and welding in flat, horizontal and overhead positions with aluminum, stainless steel and other metals.
