Walla Walla Community College is a public community college with Welding Technology training at both its Walla Walla and Clarkston campuses. Students can complete a one-year certificate or continue into a two-year associate degree. The hands-on curriculum emphasizes construction and fabrication and covers major arc-welding processes, plate and pipe work, thermal cutting, brazing and soldering. Official program materials also describe preparation for welding qualifications, and the current program page states that graduates earn at least one Washington Association of Building Officials certification.
