Wallace Community College is a public Alabama community college offering Welding Technology at its Wallace Campus in Dothan and Sparks Campus in Eufaula. Its academic pathway includes a 55-credit certificate and four stackable short-term certificates ranging from basic plate welding to advanced aluminum MIG and stainless-steel pipe welding. Instruction covers Stick, MIG, Flux-Core and TIG welding, pipe and fabrication work, and oxyfuel, plasma and carbon-arc cutting. The college also offers shorter workforce welding courses. Both campuses support hands-on welding instruction, and the academic program provides qualifying students opportunities to take AWS certification tests on campus.
