Wallace Community College is a public Alabama community college offering Welding Technology at its Wallace Campus in Dothan and Sparks Campus in Eufaula. This 55-credit, four-semester certificate prepares plate and pipe welders through classroom and extensive lab work. The sequence covers Stick, MIG, Flux-Core and TIG welding, oxyfuel, plasma and carbon-arc cutting, carbon-pipe welding and pipefitting/fabrication. Students can exit after two semesters with plate-welding preparation or complete the full combination-welder curriculum.
