Wallace State Community College offers Welding Technology and Robotic Welding Technician pathways leading to associate degrees, certificates, and focused short-term certificates. Students train in the Center for Welding Technology, which includes 83 manual welding booths and advanced Lincoln Electric equipment. Official curricula cover Stick, MIG, Flux-Core, TIG, structural and pipe welding, fabrication, inspection and testing, plasma and carbon arc cutting, and robotic welding and programming. The college states that welding graduates complete at least two AWS qualification tests, and academic welding pathways are offered at both Hanceville and Oneonta. A separate in-person Intro to Welding workforce course provides semester-specific Stick or MIG/Flux-Core training.
