Wayne Community College is a public community college in Goldsboro, North Carolina. Its current Welding Technology curriculum includes a broad 37-credit diploma and four stackable certificates: Welding Technology, MIG Welding, Stick Welding and TIG Welding. Depending on the award, hands-on courses cover MIG, TIG, Stick and Flux-Core welding, oxyfuel welding and cutting, plasma cutting, brazing, soldering, plate and pipe applications, and work with steel, aluminum and stainless steel. The curriculum combines classroom study with practical welding and cutting labs for entry-level welding and metalworking employment.
