A 64-credit applied associate degree preparing students for industrial-plant welding and fabrication. The curriculum includes oxyacetylene cutting, Stick plate welding, groove welding, MIG and Flux-Core welding, TIG on plate and pipe, carbon and stainless pipe welding, pipe layout and fabrication, and welding inspection. Students work to applicable codes and standards in a flexible laboratory that is open Monday through Thursday from morning through evening.
