Westmoreland County Community College is a public community college serving southwestern Pennsylvania. Welding Engineering Technology is taught at the Advanced Technology Center in Mount Pleasant through stackable certificate, diploma, and associate-degree pathways. Current official curricula combine classroom theory with hands-on practice in Stick, MIG, TIG, fabrication, aluminum, and pipe welding, along with metallurgy, codes, equipment maintenance, and destructive and nondestructive testing.
