Whitewater Career Center delivers a two-year Welding Technology pathway that blends classroom instruction with hands-on laboratory work. Students progress through Stick, MIG, TIG and Flux-Core welding as well as oxyfuel welding and cutting and plasma cutting, practice multiple welding positions, and apply print-reading and metal-properties concepts to projects. The program offers Ivy Tech dual credit toward a Structural Welding certificate, AWS SENSE Level I preparation, optional cooperative work experience and an approved pre-apprenticeship connection.
