Williston State College offers four Welding Technology pathways: a 62-credit Associate in Applied Science, a 30-credit Program Certificate, and process-focused Certificates of Completion in Metal Inert Gas and Shielded Metal Arc welding. Training is delivered in the Western Star Career and Technology Center on the Williston campus and covers Stick, MIG, Flux-Core and TIG welding, oxyfuel welding and cutting, fabrication, layout, pattern making and metallurgy, with additional specialty-process coursework in the AAS.
