The 37-credit diploma develops practical welding and metal-industry skills over three semesters. Required welding courses cover oxyfuel and plasma cutting, Stick plate and pipe welding, MIG and Flux-Core plate welding, and TIG plate and pipe welding. Supporting work includes welding symbols and specifications, metallurgy, inspection, and destructive and nondestructive testing.
