WSU Tech is a public technical college offering Welding Technology at certificate and associate-degree levels. The current pathway includes a 17-credit Level 1 technical certificate, a 39-credit Level 2 technical certificate, and a 61-credit Associate of Applied Science. Coursework progresses through Stick, MIG, TIG, oxy-acetylene welding and cutting, fabrication, materials testing, and process electives such as Flux-Core and robotic welding. Students complete classroom and laboratory instruction and may earn multiple AWS qualifications through the college's AWS SENSE program. Welding credentials are offered at the National Center for Aviation Training and City Center; both certificates are also offered through CTEC in Pittsburg.
