WyoTech is a private career school in Laramie, Wyoming. Its six-month Applied Welding Technology diploma consists of four 240-hour phases and places about 70 percent of training in the shop. Students progress through MIG, Flux-Core, Stick, TIG, structural and pipe welding, oxyfuel and plasma cutting, stainless and aluminum work, fabrication, and qualification-focused practice. Project-based labs include individual work and a final fabrication capstone.
