WyoTech is a private career school in Laramie, Wyoming. Its six-month Applied Welding Technology diploma consists of four 240-hour phases and places about 70 percent of training in the shop. Students progress through MIG, Flux-Core, Stick, TIG, structural and pipe welding, oxyfuel and plasma cutting, stainless and aluminum work, fabrication, and qualification-focused practice. Project-based labs include individual work and a final fabrication capstone. Current official marketing and pricing also advertise a nine-month Applied Welding Technology and Management degree pathway that combines the welding core with Applied Service Management, although that credential is not yet listed in the current catalog and therefore requires review.
