Alfred State College — Wellsville Applied Technology Campus

Alfred State College offers a four-semester Welding Technology AOS through its School of Applied Technology. The curriculum progresses through Stick, MIG, TIG, Flux-Core, gas and plasma cutting, plate and pipe welding, codes, inspection and testing, drawings and welding symbols, metallurgy, fabrication, and a senior project. Students work toward AWS Level I and II standards, including process-specific qualification testing. The degree is taught at the Wellsville campus and at Northland Workforce Training Center in Buffalo.
