Central Louisiana Technical Community College — Advanced Manufacturing Center

Central Louisiana Technical Community College offers Welding Technology through classroom and lab instruction at five current welding locations. The program covers safety, blueprint reading, metallurgy, inspection, cutting, SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, groove and pipe positions, aluminum, construction, manufacturing, and fabrication applications. Students can pursue a Technical Diploma and earn stackable Career and Technical Certificates or Certificates of Technical Studies at defined exit points. CLTCC also publishes a separate ten-week evening Welding Fundamentals workforce course with adaptable process and plate/pipe instruction.
