CLTCC also publishes a separate ten-week evening Welding Fundamentals workforce course with adaptable process and plate/pipe instruction.

This hands-on Technical Diploma combines classroom theory and welding-lab practice in safety, blueprint reading, metallurgy, inspection, cutting, SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, groove welding, pipe positions, and fabrication applications. The current curriculum provides construction, general-welding, and manufacturing course patterns and awards stackable CTC and CTS credentials at defined exit points. CLTCC describes the full diploma as a two-year program with flexible scheduling.
