Coffeyville Community College's Welding Technology program provides intensive hands-on instruction in MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Core welding, with a strong emphasis on pipe, fabrication, blueprint reading, welding symbols, cutting, shop mathematics, and workplace safety. Full-time students can complete the 46-credit Certificate of Completion in about nine months, while an Associate of Applied Science adds general education for a 64-credit degree. Students practice plate and pipe positions and can earn 6G pipe-welding certificates. Current official sources place instruction at the Richard Dick Robison Welding Center in Coffeyville and at Columbus North in Columbus.
