East Valley Institute of Technology provides hands-on welding and metal-fabrication training for adult and high-school students. The curriculum covers Stick, MIG, TIG, and Flux-Core welding, thermal cutting, blueprint reading, weldment testing, safety, and industry-standard tools and equipment. EVIT is an AWS Accredited Testing Facility and publishes opportunities for welding students to earn AWS certifications. Adult welding is offered at the Dr. A. Keith Crandell Main Campus, while high-school and blended welding is offered at Main, Power, and the Skyline High School welding campus.
