An intensive continuing-education course at the Spring Lake Campus covering structural-welding principles and practices. FTCC describes an emphasis on SMAW/Stick with introductions to GMAW spray-arc and GTAW, plus oxyacetylene and plasma cutting. The current 2026 offering meets Tuesday through Friday in an all-day format and is presented for transitioning service members, veterans, and eligible civilian students.
