This noncredit workforce course combines lecture and practical lab exercises in oxy-fuel welding and cutting and shielded metal arc welding. Students learn power-source and electrode selection, equipment setup, safety, joint preparation and fillet and butt welds with E-7018 and E-6010 electrodes in multiple positions. Successful students receive a Jefferson State Certificate of Completion.
