Jones College offers a two-semester career certificate, three-semester technical certificate and four-semester Associate in Applied Science in Welding and Cutting. Students progress from basic to advanced procedures in stick, MIG, TIG, flux-core and pipe welding, with welding theory, electrode classification, blueprint reading, welding symbols, metallurgy, shop safety, plasma and oxyacetylene cutting, and aluminum and stainless-steel applications.
