The two-semester career certificate introduces students to welding theory and hands-on practice, progressing from elementary to more advanced procedures. Official coursework includes shop safety, electrode identification, blueprint and symbol interpretation, plasma and oxyacetylene cutting, stick, MIG, TIG, flux-core and pipe welding, including aluminum and stainless-steel applications.
