About Mountainland Technical College (school-wide)
Mountainland Technical College delivers a 16-month, shop-intensive Welding Technology certificate at four Utah locations. Students train in MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-Core and oxyfuel cutting, plus other thermal and mechanical cutting methods. The program reports that approximately 85 percent of training occurs in the shop and includes AWS Level I certificates and D1.1 structural-steel qualification opportunities.
