This 35-credit technical diploma develops hands-on skills in stick, MIG/pulse-arc, TIG, flux-core and submerged-arc welding, including TIG pipe and tubing. Students also practice manual and mechanized thermal cutting and gouging, fabrication, CNC cutting and forming applications and introductory robotic welding. The program's typical two-term course sequence combines process labs with metallurgy, print reading and weld-quality assessment.

This 64-credit, four-term associate degree combines the full range of production welding with advanced manufacturing. Students complete MIG including pulsed spray transfer, TIG including pipe and tubing, stick, flux-core and submerged-arc welding, thermal cutting, CNC applications, fabrication layout and production. Coursework advances from GMAW short-circuit and spray-transfer fundamentals through CNC applications and robotic programs for linear, circular and weaving weld patterns, fixtures and programmable positioners. This 10-credit technical diploma focuses on all-position flux-core welds on steel plate for production welding and fabrication. Required coursework also introduces the four major arc-welding processes, thermal cutting and submerged-arc welding, while covering print-based fabrication and weld-quality assessment.
