Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology offers two distinct welding-related associate degrees in Lancaster. Welding Technology develops entry-level welding skill through hands-on study of MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-Core, pipe and oxyfuel processes. Advanced Welding Fabrication Technology adds structural, sheet, plate and pipe fabrication; plasma and oxyacetylene cutting; layout; estimating; CNC applications; and robotic-welding exposure. Welding Technology is based at the Greenfield location, while Advanced Welding Fabrication Technology operates in the Greiner Advanced Manufacturing Center.
