Minnesota North College offers a 12-credit welding certificate, a 33-credit entry-level diploma and a 65-credit advanced diploma. The curriculum combines welding theory with extensive lab practice in stick, MIG, TIG and flux-core processes, plus thermal cutting, flame joining, gouging, pipe and tube welding, stainless-steel applications and CNC cutting at the advanced level. The program is an AWS Accredited Test Facility and gives graduates an opportunity to test as AWS Certified Welders.
